Jackie sharp
Ms. Sharp is originally from the Washington DC area. She has lived in Louisville, KY since 2005. She received her undergraduate work from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) with a Bachelor's of Science in Integrative Studies specializing in Management Information Systems and Global Systems. In following her passion in science and animals, Ms. Sharp went to pursue a certification in Canine Rehabilitative Physiotherapy from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (Knoxville, TN). Since moving to Louisville in 2005, she has obtained a Master's of Arts in Teaching from University of Louisville (Louisville, KY) Highly Qualified in Secondary Biology. and endorsed to teach AP Computer Science Principles and A (Java).
With her background in technology and business, she is confident in building a strong pedagogy to help students succeed in the 21st century. She places value in her students' lives, the joys of teaching, and her family. Her classroom honors the diversity of all students and interests. It is for this reason she believes in learning through customization and promoting the whole learner. She enjoys her weekends by spending time with her daughter, Millie, and her 4-legged child/canine, Ari. |
